COME VISIT US DURING THE BLOOM SEASON
We can heartily recommend a visit to some of the other nurseries in our area. We are lucky to have a world class grower of tropical house plants in our county, Glasshouse Works in Stewart. Their offerings run in the area of 5,000 different cultivars. Companion Plants on Coolville Ridge outside Athens is one of the finest sources of herbs in the US. Hoot Owl Hollow Nursery in New Marshfield has an eclectic collection in a unique setting.
In Little Hocking, 45 minutes away, our good friend, Lee Underschultz have established a wonderful garden filled with exotic forms, spiders and many classic daylilies. As we have moved away from selling cultivars introduced by other hybridizers, we hope that you will give Lee a try. Little Hocking is located east of Athens, Ohio within a short range of the other establishments mentioned above. Farther east are located Larry and Marla Work who are specializing in doubles as well as wide variety of other dips and tets. Charlie Dorsey of Raccoon Creek Farms is in Vinton County some 45 minutes from us.
Charlie Dorsey's Daylily Addict videos are making a great hit among those who are subscribers. We can highly recommend that you subscribe. You receive 4 DVD's a year which contain interviews with hybridizers, garden visits as well as helpful hints which are useful for the garden. The videos also are great for club meetings, offering something for everyone from the newbie to the very experienced grower.
If you are coming from a distance and would like to have a place to spend the night, we can guide you to several choices. There are numerous motels nearby in Athens. Being the home of Ohio University, Athens has abundant motel rooms and good restaurant choices.

BONUS PLANTS It is our policy to provide our introductions net. That means of course that there are no bonuses. However, depending on supply we like to be able to send out gifts with the orders. Several of our cultivars do not photograph well but are wonderful in the garden. These do not sell as well as they deserve but need to be seen in gardens.
GIFT CERTIFICATES are available any time of the year and make a thoughtful and appreciated gift. Do a friend or family member a favor and introduce them to the ease and beauty of growing daylilies.
MINIMUM ORDER $20.
